| New Billing
System Advisory - Billing System Error |

A new billing system was implemented late last year in order to streamline billing operations and
reduce costs. The old system was overdue for an upgrade and the new one will accommodate
electricity customers in the same system as water and sewer. However, as is to be expected with any
major system changeover, we have experienced some technical difficulties that we are working diligently
to correct.
If customers notice anything unusual about their bill, they are advised to call the Customer Service
Center at 645-8270, 645-8276 or e-mail a service representative.
Errors that have been brought to our attention are being corrected, including a higher than normal
Clean River fee that billed for 2 days before it was caught and corrected. The Clean River fee has
since been corrected; affected customers will receive new bills with the correct dollar amount and a new
due date. Customers who are on the automated bill payment system (offered through Direct
Payment) can be assured that the new bill and due date will be honored. All affected accounts
will be corrected.
